About this board game
Quiet House is a cooperative board game for 2–4 players, with sessions lasting about 30 minutes. Inside an abandoned mansion, wandering ghosts seek refuge while trying to arrange five statues in the grand hall according to everyone’s goals.
At the start of the game, goal tiles are assigned to the players. These tiles indicate how the statues should be placed for the group to win, but each player has only partial information about the complete set of goals. The challenge is to discover the arrangement that satisfies everyone before daybreak.
Players take turns moving the statues around the hall. However, they cannot communicate with one another about the goals they know. Instead, success depends on paying close attention to each move, interpreting what other players may be trying to achieve, and making thoughtful decisions with incomplete information.
- Cooperative play for 2–4 players
- Five statues to arrange in the grand hall
- Partially hidden goals represented by goal tiles
- Silent teamwork based on observation and deduction
Every move can offer a clue—or make the final arrangement more difficult. Players must balance their own knowledge with their reading of the group’s actions, gradually collaborating without directly discussing their objectives.
In Quiet House, careful observation and shared intuition are just as important as the statue placements themselves. Can the ghosts understand one another well enough to create the correct arrangement before the night ends?
