Rallyman: GT – GT5

About this expansion

Rallyman: GT – GT5 is an expansion for 1–6 players with a playing time of about 60 minutes, released in 2020. It adds six coloured plastic car models, new dashboards, Driver cards, a new die, and a rulebook to your GT racing experience.

The six GT5 cars use only five black Gear dice. They compensate for this limitation with access to the new green Boost die, which works like a Brake die but provides a different way to manage acceleration.

When accelerating, the Boost die lets a GT5 car skip a gear. This gives these cars a distinct feature while preserving their own identity on the track. The expansion also includes a brand-new set of dashboards for both Asphalt and Rain tires.

GT5 also supports races against the GT6 cars. New dashboards for the GT6 cars modify them slightly, balancing the two car types so they can compete on equal terms while retaining their unique traits.

With its alternative car design, dedicated Boost die, and dashboard updates for both GT5 and GT6 vehicles, Rallyman: GT – GT5 adds variety without removing the defining differences between the cars. Choose between Asphalt and Rain dashboards, bring the new cars to the race, and use the Boost die to handle acceleration in a new way.
