About this board game

Ravage: Dungeons of Plunder is a dungeon-delving board game for 1–5 players, with games lasting approximately 90 minutes. Take control of a band of Orcs as you explore dangerous dungeons, battle monsters, gather teef, complete objectives, and level up your abilities.

Choose one of four hero castes, each with a distinct style of play. The Berserker unleashes powerful attacks and charges into groups of enemies, while the Shaman uses tribal magic to transform, summon spirits, and blood wield foes. The Cultist inflicts fear, drains life, and summons the undead; the Headhunter relies on poison, flaming arrows, and head shots.

  • Solo: Survive the dungeon and a random boss encounter, with no resurrection available.
  • Adventure: Work cooperatively to complete quests, with or without a Dungeon Master.
  • Treachery: Pit players against one another as they control monsters and the dungeon, set traps, and loot opponents.

Abilities and weapons require energy to use. As energy is exhausted, it becomes experience, allowing you to gain enough experience to level up your abilities and unleash more devastating attacks.

The dungeon is built from cards drawn during exploration, creating a different arrangement of hallways and rooms each time. Traps threaten every expedition, while monsters can be aggroed and may make attacks of opportunity. Defeated enemies reward you with teef, which serve as money and can be spent at the sneaky goblin.

Death can leave your loot beside the trap or with the monster that killed you, allowing anyone to claim it. Resurrection points and tokens are limited, and in Adventure mode, losing a hero without the means to resurrect can fail the quest. Bosses bring unique ability cards to campaigns or surprise solo encounters, making Ravage: Dungeons of Plunder a dangerous descent into Orc-led chaos.
