About this board game

Rhino Hero is a 15-minute building game for 2–5 players, first released in 2011. Players compete to construct a single tower from walls and roof cards while trying to play all of the roofs in their hands.

Each player begins with five roof cards. On a turn, the active player first places walls on the highest floor, then chooses a roof card and adds it to the building. Every roof card shows markings that indicate where the next player must place their walls, shaping the tower as it grows.

Some roofs add special actions to the challenge. Depending on the card, a player may need to place a second roof, change the direction of play, or move Super Rhino to a new location on the tower. Careful placement and steady hands are essential as the structure becomes taller and more precarious.

• Build one shared tower with walls and roof cards.
• Follow the placement markings on each roof.
• Use special roof actions, including extra placement, direction changes, and Super Rhino movement.
• Try to empty your hand before the building collapses.

The first player to build all of their roof cards wins. However, if the building collapses, the player who caused the collapse automatically loses, and the player holding the fewest roof cards wins instead.
