About this board game

RoadKill is a 90-minute card game for 2–10 players featuring cross-country demolition racing and armored highway combat. Each player pilots an armored racer packed with outrageous accessories while competing for the lead and the chance to lay the next section of the course.

Attack the competition with front machine-guns, grenades, smoke screens, or scythe-blade hubcaps. The race is just as much about timing and positioning as it is about firepower: pole position attracts misfortune, while slipstreaming creates opportunities for cars further back in the pack.

  • Choose the road: Lead players select the next course section, from mountainous terrain that can drain fuel to desert straight-aways that may help a struggling racer finish the race.
  • Manage the danger: Cars can break down, roads can widen or narrow, and progress may stop at a blizzard, rock slide, or drawbridge.
  • Use the rest stops: Refuel when necessary, but watch for sabotage and theft while you are there.
  • Customize your racer: The Advanced Game allows cars to be equipped with even more unusual accessories.

RoadKill keeps the highway unpredictable with hazards, tactical choices, and direct attacks between racers. Players must decide whether to push for the front, exploit the terrain, or stay safely positioned behind the leaders while managing their fuel situation.

With its Mad Max-inspired atmosphere and easily played card game format, RoadKill turns a cross-country race into a vicious contest of demolition, deception, and survival. Every bend can bring a new obstacle, and no racer can be sure what waits on the road ahead.
