About this board game
Roll In One is a quick, casual dice golfing game for 1–5 players, with sessions lasting about 45 minutes. Design player-made golf courses, then race to complete each hole using dice as your clubs.
Take turns choosing a die and rolling to determine how far your ball flies. Each die represents a different club: the D4 works like a putter, while the D20 acts as a driver. Choose carefully, because the bigger your potential distance, the greater the risk of an unfavorable result.
The central challenge is simple but demanding: you must keep rolling until you fail. Successful rolls move your ball forward, while different die faces can turn the ball, leave it stuck in trees, or prevent it from rolling on fairways. Knowing when a particular club is useful—and when it may carry too much risk—is essential.
Build courses with fairways, sand traps, and water hazards, creating layouts that are straightforward to navigate or filled with difficult choices. Use the terrain to your advantage whenever possible, and draw on helpful Caddie Cards as you work toward the green.
- Choose from dice that represent different golf clubs.
- Keep rolling after successful shots until a roll fails.
- Create courses featuring fairways, sand traps, and water hazards.
- Use terrain and Caddie Cards to improve your chances.
With its blend of push-your-luck decisions, course design, and lighthearted golf simulation, Roll In One offers an accessible way to play a round using only rolls, hazards, and a little judgment. Can you reach the green before everyone else?
