About this board game
Rollet is a fast-rolling ricochet game for exactly four players, with a typical play time of 10 minutes. Players compete in teams of two, using steel balls and carefully timed shots to send a wooden ball in the central arena toward the opposing team’s goal.
Each team protects one goal between its two players while trying to attack the other team’s goal. The objective is direct, but success demands more than simply rolling as quickly as possible. Rollet rewards a good eye, precise timing, and effective teamwork.
Players roll steel balls down their chutes and use ricochets to influence the wooden ball in the arena. Every shot can change the situation, making awareness and coordination important throughout the game. The central arena keeps the action focused, while the opposing goals give both teams a clear target to defend and attack.
- Players: exactly 4, competing in teams of 2
- Play time: approximately 10 minutes
- Core action: roll steel balls down chutes to knock the wooden ball into an opponent’s goal
- Key skills: aiming, timing, ricochet control, and teamwork
Rollet also penalizes fumbling and trigger-happy play, so thoughtful action matters. Players must balance the urge to take a shot with the need to read the arena and coordinate with their teammate.
Released in 2014, Rollet delivers a compact competitive challenge built around quick decisions and physical precision. Its four-player-only format makes cooperation essential: protect your shared goal, create opportunities together, and use each roll with purpose.
