Root: Marauder Hirelings Pack & Hireling Box is a hireling add-on for 2–4 players, with a play time of 90 minutes. Released in 2022, it adds six new hirelings and a dedicated box for storing your Root hirelings.

Bring new allies to the Woodland with Flame Bearers, Rat Smugglers, Vault Keepers, Badger Bodyguards, Popular Band, and Street Band. Each addition helps make the game wilder while opening up fresh tactical possibilities.

Hirelings can be added at any player count. With fewer players, they add new pieces to the map, increasing the tension and giving you more tactical options as you compete across the Woodland.

With more players, some hireling cards flip over to reveal new special abilities to gain. This lets you explore unique and powerful strategies while using the hirelings in a different way.

Root: Marauder Hirelings Pack & Hireling Box is best with fewer players and great with more, making it a flexible way to bring additional variety to your games. The included box also provides a convenient home for your Root hirelings between sessions.
