Root: Underworld Hirelings Pack adds six unique hirelings to Root games for 2–4 players, with a listed play time of 90 minutes. Released in 2022, this product brings new allies, tactical options, and fresh ways to make the Woodland wilder.

Hirelings can be added at any player count. In games with fewer players, they add new pieces to the map, increasing tension and creating more tactical possibilities across the Woodland. Their presence gives smaller games additional pressure and more choices to consider.

With more players, some hireling cards flip over to reveal new special abilities to gain. This lets players explore distinctive and powerful strategies while adding another layer of variety to Root sessions.

The pack includes six new hirelings:

• Mole Artisans
• Corvid Spies
• Raven Sentinels
• Furious Protector
• Stoic Protector
