About this expansion

ROVE: Reconfigured is a six-card module expansion for one player, designed for a 15-minute game of exploration.

Download complete. The operating system is being rewritten, core modules are enhanced, and the upgrade is ready. With this expansion, you can play with either the standard or Reconfigured version of each module.

The boosted modules offer bigger effects, but they are not always better. This creates a choice before play begins: decide which version of every module you want to bring into your exploration.

Before playing, choose one module from each of the six available types:

• BRAIN or BRAIN 2.0
• COIL or COIL 2.0
• GRIPPER or GRIPPER 2.0
• LASER or LASER 2.0
• MOTOR or MOTOR 2.0
• SENSOR or SENSOR 2.0

ROVE: Reconfigured lets you combine the original and upgraded module versions to define the set you will use. Choose familiar modules or try their enhanced counterparts, keeping in mind that a larger effect does not automatically make a module better.

Released in 2022, this compact expansion adds a clear version-selection decision to the game while preserving the choice between standard and upgraded modules. It is made for solo sessions and offers a quick way to customize your next exploration.
