About this board game

Saigon 75 is a strategic wargame for 1–2 players with a listed play time of 120 minutes, simulating the fratricidal struggle between North and South Vietnam from summer 1973 to spring 1975.

The game combines straightforward rules with constant strategic pressure. North Vietnamese divisions face South Vietnamese Rangers, Marines, Parachutists, and other units, creating an uneven contest in which every turn can bring a decisive change.

Air power and desertion are important parts of the conflict, while event cards add uncertainty and replayability. These elements work together to keep the outcome in doubt right through the final turn.

The North player wins immediately if, at the end of any turn, North controls Saigon province. The South player must successfully defend Saigon until the end of Turn 8 to claim victory.

Saigon 75 also includes a solo mode in which you play as the South while a deck of cards controls the North. During phases such as movement and attack, the AI draws a card and carries out the specified action. The solo rules and winning condition remain close to those of the two-player game, offering a focused way to experience the same high-pressure struggle.
