Semper Fidelis: Bitwa o Lwów 1918-1919 is a two-player, scenario-based strategy game about the fight for Lwów, the capital of Eastern Galicia, with an approximate playing time of 180 minutes.

Set in late 1918 and early 1919, the game presents the military conflict between Polish and Ukrainian forces following the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Each player takes the role of a Polish or Ukrainian leader, directing regular and volunteer units in a struggle for control of a city claimed as essential to both national identities.

During each scenario, players spend action points provided by cards and supply tokens. They can mobilize soldiers, build fortifications, gather supplies, spread propaganda, assist civilians, and negotiate alliances with neutral forces. Cards may provide additional action points or trigger effects such as a bonus to military strength during the combat phase.

Victory depends on collecting more victory points than the opponent. Strategic city districts, defeated enemy units, alliances, enemy commanders, and army morale all contribute to the contest.

Five scenarios cover different events and periods of the Polish-Ukrainian War:

• Coup: an introductory, one-stage scenario set during the first days of November 1918.
• Semper Fidelis: the main three-stage scenario covering November 1–24, 1918.
• Relief: a one-stage battle between Ukrainian forces and Polish soldiers reinforced by relief forces.
• Siege: a two-stage scenario covering December 1, 1918 to January 31, 1919.
• Assault: a two-stage scenario depicting the final Ukrainian attempt to capture Lwów in February 1919.

With varied scenario lengths and multiple routes to victory, Semper Fidelis places military operations, resources, diplomacy, and morale at the center of its historical conflict.
