About this expansion

Sentinels of the Multiverse: Chokepoint Villain Character is a 2015 mini-expansion for 1–5 players, with a listed play time of 60 minutes. It introduces Chokepoint, a formidable villain whose power lets her absorb technology and transform it into armor.

Born Evelyn Moore, Chokepoint could communicate with machines before she could speak. Under the care of the Ironclad Project, she learned to absorb technology, plate herself in steel, and coat her skin in wires. Her powers changed dramatically when she absorbed an M1 Abrams tank and escaped from a military base.

Since then, Choke has repeatedly opposed the Freedom Five and their allies, often appearing around military installations or weapons stockpiles. After being fatally wounded by K.N.Y.F.E., she discovered an alien device left behind after the heroes stopped Deadline from destroying Earth.

By drawing the resonating crystal at the device’s heart into herself, Evelyn sealed her wound and opened her mind to alien technology. This new power revealed the weak points in the world around her. Now, as Chokepoint, she intends to erase those weaknesses entirely—and believes she needs only more power to do it.

  • A tech-absorbing villain with steel armor and machine communication
  • A connection to the Ironclad Project and the Vengeful Five
  • Alien technology that lets her sense weak points
  • A threat whose ambitions extend beyond Earth, even to the galaxy’s central star

Chokepoint Villain Character was offered as a pre-order bonus for Sentinels of the Multiverse: Villains of the Multiverse, adding Evelyn Moore’s escalating quest to the game’s roster of villainous threats.
