Space Alert: The New Frontier is a cooperative expansion for 1–5 players, designed for games lasting around 30 minutes. Released in 2010, it sends teams of space pioneers on reconnaissance flights into extremely dangerous sectors.

For experienced crews, familiar threats may no longer be enough. This expansion introduces a new program of reconnaissance missions and brings greater challenges to the extraordinary cooperative game Space Alert.

Survival requires more than confidence. Before undertaking these flights, players must pass a special training program that allows them to perform more actions in the same time. However, the new training does not make the missions simple, and danger remains central to every challenge.
