About this board game

Space Battle Lunchtime Card Game is a card game for 2–5 players that plays in about 30 minutes. Released in 2020, it places players in the role of contestants on the Universe’s hottest reality TV cooking show.

Based on Natalie Riess’s graphic novel, the game brings the world of Space Battle Lunchtime to the tabletop. In the story behind the game, Earth baker Peony gets the deal of a lifetime when she agrees to compete on the intergalactic cooking show.

As contestants, players collect and combine flavor cards to create the perfect prize-winning dish. The goal is to turn those flavors into dishes worthy of the show’s discerning alien judges.

  • Compete as chefs in an intergalactic cooking competition.
  • Collect and combine flavor cards.
  • Serve dishes to alien judges.
  • Earn points and aim for the highest score.

Every dish served contributes to the competition, making point-scoring the heart of the game. Players face off as chefs while working toward the most successful menu they can create from their flavor cards.

At the end of the game, the chef with the most points wins. With its cooking-show setting, colorful graphic-novel origins, and straightforward card-based premise, Space Battle Lunchtime Card Game offers a tabletop take on a cosmic culinary contest for groups of two to five.
