Space Cats Fight Fascism

About this board game

Space Cats Fight Fascism is a cooperative board game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes, in which rebellious cats unite to stop fascist forces from taking control of the Galactic Alliance.

The fascist group known as the Rat Pack blames the galaxy’s problems on cats, threatening to force these fuzzy creatures into exile. Players work together as a band of feline freedom fighters, traveling between planets, scratching away at fascist forces, and freeing animals held under their control.

Each player has three actions on their turn. Use cards from your hand and other basic actions to build the Animal Resistance across twelve different home worlds, teleport across the galaxy, restock supplies, and adopt new paw-ers as the game develops. The changing cards and choices help make each game unique.

When the Resistance gathers at least four liberation tokens on a planet, place a Liberated flag there. The cats win by liberating four planets—but the fascists are constantly working to reverse your progress with threats such as Anti-Cat Propaganda and The Fascists Use Laser Pointers to Distract Us!

• Win by placing Liberated flags on four planets.
• The fascists win by placing three Occupied flags on the board.
• The fascists also win if every fascist is placed on the board or if they gain too much power on the Fascism Scale.

Led by Rocket the freedom fighter, CJ the medic, Pepper the pouncer, and Ophelia the smuggler, the resistance must build a galaxy where all species are free together. In Space Cats Fight Fascism, every liberated world brings the animals closer to victory while the Rat Pack presses its attack.
