About this board game

Speed Cups² is a 10-minute action game for exactly two players, featuring colorful cup-arranging challenges and a race to ring the bell first.

Each player receives five plastic cups, with every cup a different color. A shuffled deck of 24 cards sits face down in the center of the table beside the bell, ready to reveal the next challenge.

When a card is flipped, it shows colored objects—such as trains, birds, or cups—arranged in a vertical or horizontal sequence. Everyone quickly tries to recreate that sequence using their own set of cups. The first player to finish slams the bell and enjoys the satisfying ding.

If the arrangement is correct, that player claims the card. Then the next card is revealed, sending both players back to shuffling and stacking their cups. The game keeps the action focused on quick observation, rapid rearrangement, and accurate color matching.

Speed Cups² adds an extra twist to the familiar cup-racing formula. You do not only arrange cups in horizontal and vertical stacks; you also have to make different stacks, creating new patterns to solve at speed.

The game can be played on its own with two players. It can also be used as an expansion for Quick Cups, allowing games with up to six players.
