Spots

About this board game

Spots is a casual push-your-luck dice game for 1–4 players, with play time of about 30 minutes. On each turn, you roll dice and place them onto dog cards while trying to complete six dogs and win.

The central challenge is deciding how far to press your luck. Dice that you cannot place are buried in your yard, bringing you closer to a bust. Every roll can help you make progress, but it can also leave you with dice that have nowhere to go.

To play, roll your dice and place the results onto the available dog cards. As you work toward completing them, keep an eye on the dice accumulating in your yard. Bury too many dice and you bust, so successful play requires balancing progress against risk.
