Star Realms: Rescue Run Promo Card

About this expansion

Star Realms: Rescue Run Promo Card is an Event card for the award-winning Star Realms Deckbuilding Game, designed for 2 players and a 20-minute play time.

Based on the first Star Realms novel, Star Realms: Rescue Run, this card brings the story’s high-stakes atmosphere to the game. The novel follows Joan Shengtu, a smuggler and thief who has built a reputation while surviving after being court-martialed by the Star Empire.

When a new client’s mission goes sideways, Joan is caught between dueling gambits involving the Star Empire and the Trade Federation. Recruited for the heist of a lifetime, she finds the fate of the Star Empire in her hands. The card reflects that rising tension as the action unfolds.

Rescue Run is shuffled into the Trade Deck along with the game’s Events. When it is revealed, its effect resolves immediately, creating a moment that can alter the developing game. Its powerful effect becomes even stronger as the game progresses and players improve their decks.
