Star Wars: Legion – Imperial Death Troopers Unit Expansion is a two-player expansion for battles lasting about 120 minutes, released in 2019. It brings the terrifying death troopers of the Tarkin Initiative to the battlefields of Star Wars: Legion.

Adorned in jet black armor and equipped with an arsenal of weapons and equipment, these elite soldiers are an imposing sight. Imperial Intelligence hand-selects death trooper candidates from the Stormtrooper Corps, choosing soldiers whose skills exceed those of ordinary Imperial troops.

Death troopers are trained to be efficient and merciless. They advance through enemy fire and deliver attacks with unmatched precision, making them a formidable presence wherever they are deployed. Rumors also suggest that classified medical augmentations contribute to their inhuman resilience.

The unit’s exceptional discipline is reflected in its battlefield behavior. When death troopers are issued an order, they can remove a suppression token, allowing them to continue pressing the attack even under heavy adversity.
