Star Wars: The Deckbuilding Game is a head-to-head deckbuilding game for two players, with play time of approximately 90 minutes. Released in 2023, it brings the war between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance to the tabletop.

Each player chooses a side and begins with a unique ten-card deck. Seven cards in each starting deck provide resources for acquiring new cards, helping you strengthen your forces as the game progresses. Your objective is to destroy three of your opponent’s bases before they can do the same to you.

A galaxy deck creates a changing market of six face-up cards. Rebel cards face the Rebel player, Empire cards face the Empire player, and neutral cards are placed sideways. Spend resources to acquire cards that do not belong to your opponent, or use attack power to take out opposing cards and gain a reward.

• Deckbuilding: Improve your starting deck by acquiring cards from the galaxy row.
• Base battles: Destroy enemy bases while protecting your own.
• Base abilities: When your starting base is destroyed, choose a replacement from your base deck, each with a special ability.
• The Force: Fight for control of the Force track to gain additional resources or activate “If the Force is with you…” abilities.

Rebels begin with Dantooine, while the Empire begins with Lothal; these starting bases lack abilities. Later bases offer new powers, and capital ships can absorb damage intended for your base.

With opposing card types, changing base options, and a shared struggle for the Force, Star Wars: The Deckbuilding Game gives both players a direct route to build power and pursue victory across the galaxy.
