About this board game

Star Wars: Unlock! is a cooperative card game for 1–6 players, offering three adventures designed to be played in about 60 minutes. Inspired by escape rooms, it uses cards and a companion app to create a tense Star Wars puzzle experience at the table.

Search scenes, combine objects, and solve riddles as you work together to overcome obstacles. The companion app can provide clues, check codes, and monitor the time remaining, helping guide your group through each mission while keeping the focus on investigation and deduction.

• Escape from Hoth: Patrol the icy planet on a tauntaun, explore the surroundings, and find a way to contact the hidden Echo Base after atmospheric disturbance interrupts communications.
• An Unforeseen Delay: As smugglers intercepted by an Imperial Star Destroyer, break out of your cell, rescue your astromech, recover Jabba the Hutt’s cargo, and escape with your ship.
• Secret Mission on Jedha: Infiltrate the Holy City of Jedha as an Imperial spy, gather intelligence, preserve your cover story, and retrieve a crate of priceless kyber crystals without alerting Saw Gerrera or his mercenaries.

Each scenario sends you into a different corner of the Star Wars universe, from a Rebel stronghold on Hoth to an Imperial operation on Jedha. Ships, droids, cargo, and dangerous missions provide the setting for collaborative problem-solving.

With its straightforward system and escalating challenges, Star Wars: Unlock! invites players to examine every clue, test creative combinations, and decide what to do next together. Gather your team, use the cards and app, and see whether you can complete each mission before time runs out.
