Star Wars Villainous: Power of the Dark Side

Star Wars Villainous: Power of the Dark Side is a board game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 50 minutes. Each player takes control of one of five iconic villains: Darth Vader, Asajj Ventress, Kylo Ren, Moff Gideon, or General Grievous.

Every villain has a personal player board, villain deck, fate deck, and 3D character. On your turn, move your character to a different location on your board, then perform one or more of the actions shown there. These actions often involve playing cards from your hand before you refill it to four cards.

• Villain decks feature allies, items, effects, and other cards.
• Unique win conditions give each villain a distinct objective to pursue.
• Fate decks let other players interfere with a villain’s plans.
• Ambition powers special actions based on each villain’s use of the Force, strategic leadership, or sheer luck.

Through the fate action, choose another player and draw two cards from that player’s fate deck. Play one of them onto that villain’s board, covering two of the four action spaces at one of their locations. Fate cards include heroes, items, and effects drawn from that villain’s storyline, creating obstacles for their plans.

Star Wars Villainous: Power of the Dark Side also includes villain-specific missions and rules for iconic ships and transports from across the Star Wars galaxy. With character-specific powers, objectives, and story elements, each villain offers a different way to use cards and pursue victory.
