Tales of the Northlands: The Sagas of Noggin the Nog is a cooperative adventure game for 1–4 players, with a play time of 150 minutes. Players become the noble Lords of the North, joining forces to help Noggin secure his crown before his wicked uncle, Nogbad the Bad, reaches it first.

Each game unfolds through saga cards that reveal adventures threatening the kingdom. Players use their influence to take actions on a beautifully illustrated board based on Peter Firmin’s classic hand-drawn map of the Northlands, offering resources and making important decisions that shape the progress of each adventure.

Time is a vital part of the challenge. The actions players take are plotted on a roundel that acts as the game clock, changes the turn order, and advances the seasons. Wise choices can increase Noggin’s popularity, while poor decisions or taking too long may cause support to shift toward Nogbad.
