About this expansion

The Breach: Erebus is a team-based expansion for 2–6 players, with games lasting about 90 minutes. Set in the Erebus Database, it introduces Team Mode, dividing players into a Breacher Team and a Corp. Team.

Many former Breachers have betrayed their cause and companions, taking control of the Agents in the database. This new generation of sentient enemies gives the Breachers a serious challenge, forcing them to unite against a common threat.

Each player has a defined role within their team. Members of the Breacher Team control an Avatar in the Database, while members of the Corp. Team control an Agent and Firewall I.C.E.s. Players must coordinate with their teammates while countering the opposing team.

  • Breacher victory: Complete all Objective Cards assigned to the Breacher Team.
  • Corp. victory: Complete all Corp. Objective Cards and move the I.C.E. Cube on the Corp. Track to, or past, the Debug icon.

In Team Mode, the game ends as soon as one of the two teams fulfills its victory requirements. This creates a direct contest between the Breacher and Corp. forces, with both sides pursuing their own objectives inside the Erebus Database.

Whether you are guiding Avatars or managing Agents and Firewall I.C.E.s, The Breach: Erebus centers its experience on cooperation within your team and opposition across the table. Released in 2024, it brings a new team-focused way to play the world of The Breach.
