The City of Kings: Ancient Allies Character Pack #1 is a character and story pack for 1–4 players, with an approximate play time of 180 minutes. Released in 2019, it brings two returning heroes and three new stories to the game.

Yanna Stormtree and Kuma the Old Man of the Woods join the heroes as playable characters. Both are designed for experienced players seeking unique ways to play, and each features advanced skills alongside the normal 12 skills.

These characters also introduce a special progression feature. Their special skill unlocks as soon as the character receives their first stat disc, adding another option to consider while developing your role.

The pack includes three new stories that can be played alongside the existing seven or after the core storyline. Each story begins with several skill discs, letting you craft a distinctive role for your character before the adventure starts.
