About this board game
The Dungeon of D is a free, one-player dungeon-crawling card game designed for a 60-minute solo adventure. With no bookkeeping and no dice, you explore a dangerous dungeon using cards, a token, and your own decisions.
The Great War has begun, and the Black Knight’s armies are advancing toward the capital of D. Goblorcs, unnatural Beasts, Ice Monsters, and the Undead serve beneath his command, strengthened by powerful Dark Magic. Worse still, the Black Knight’s Light Sword can heal his minions—and even the Black Knight himself.
In desperation, the King of D summons 18 legendary heroes to the Dungeon of D, hidden deep in the Forest of D. Somewhere within its depths, the Great Wizard of D is said to have hidden the Amulet of D’eugor, the only known power capable of nullifying the Light Sword.
A magical barrier blocks the entrance, but Daryn and Derek can open it briefly through their combined abilities. They can do so only once every three hours, allowing the heroes to enter one at a time. As the 18th and final hero, you are the last hope—and no one who entered before you has returned.
