The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Land of Sorrow is a 60-card Adventure Pack for 1–2 players, with an approximate play time of 120 minutes. Released in 2020, it is the fifth Adventure Pack in the Vengeance of Mordor cycle.

Your journey has brought you through the treacherous Tunnels of Torech Gorgor and into Mordor at last. Before heading to Thane Ulchor’s fortress of Dol Rhugar, you choose to risk everything to free prisoners forced to harvest crops and livestock for Sauron’s armies.

The Land of Sorrow places you in a desperate revolt against cruel slavers. During the struggle, you will be locked in combat with the strongest Easterling characters you have faced so far. Success means leading the prisoners’ revolt and overthrowing their oppressors.

Alongside this new adventure, the pack expands your deckbuilding possibilities with a selection of new player cards. Its contents include:

• A contract that unlocks even more potential in one of your allies
