The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – Under the Ash Mountains

About this expansion

The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – Under the Ash Mountains is a 60-card Adventure Pack for 1–2 players, released in 2020 as the fourth Adventure Pack in the Vengeance of Mordor cycle.

Your pursuit of Thane Ulchor is nearing its conclusion, but the path to this dastardly foe leads through Torech Gorgor, a labyrinthine cave system beneath the Ash Mountains. The final stages of your journey take you deep into darkened tunnels filled with dwindling supplies and nameless terrors.

Food and water are scarce, making careful conservation essential if you hope to survive. Every step brings you closer to Mordor, but the underground passage offers little comfort and even less room for waste.

• Explore the tunnels of Torech Gorgor beneath the Ash Mountains.
• Manage scarce food and water as supplies dwindle.
• Face the nameless terrors dwelling in the darkness.
• Use numerous allies to help find your way.
• Build around a new Contract offering a diverse array of options.

Under the Ash Mountains also provides tools to help you prepare for the dangers ahead. A host of allies can support your search through the caves, while the new Contract gives you more ways to shape your options as the pursuit continues.

Can you conserve enough resources, navigate the labyrinth, and maintain the will to continue before all hope is lost? This Adventure Pack brings the Vengeance of Mordor cycle’s pursuit toward its conclusion in a perilous journey beneath the Ash Mountains.
