The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – Nightmare Deck: The Watcher in the Water is a Nightmare Deck for 1–2 players, with play taking about 60 minutes. It revisits its matching original quest in the game’s challenging Nightmare Mode.
Designed to transform a scenario players thought they knew, this deck introduces deadlier enemies, darker locations, and more terrifying surprises. New alternate encounter cards reshape the encounter deck, creating a nightmarish journey filled with fresh twists and turns.
Each Nightmare Deck includes twenty new encounter cards to add to the original quest. It also provides the instructions needed to adjust the scenario’s setup and apply the additional Nightmare Mode rules.
