The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – Fog on the Barrow-downs is a scenario for 1–2 players that takes about 60 minutes to play. Set during the Hobbits’ perilous journey across the Barrow-downs, it challenges players to confront the dangers hidden beneath the fog.

In this memorable chapter from The Fellowship of the Ring, the path ahead is obscured, strange spells bring drowsiness, and Barrow-wights seek to lure travelers into the ancient barrows. Fog on the Barrow-downs gives players the opportunity to encounter many of these deadly threats in a dedicated scenario.

The scenario also offers a chance to meet a well-known character from The Fellowship of the Ring, adding another notable moment to this dangerous passage through Middle-earth. Its setting captures the unsettling nature of the Barrow-downs, where even the journey itself can become a desperate struggle.
