The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Old Forest is a 46-card scenario for 1–2 players that takes about 60 minutes to play. Originally designed for the special Fellowship event at Gen Con Indy 2014, it challenges you to escape Mordor’s agents by venturing into the strange woods bordering the Shire.

Fredegar’s warning echoes through this dense, dark, and mysterious forest: no one ever has luck in the Old Forest, and those who enter may quickly become lost. As you search for a way through, strange woods and deadly enemies stand between you and safety.

The scenario offers more than danger. A tremendous boon awaits those who can earn it, rewarding a successful journey through the forest. Every attempt is a test of whether you can find your way through a place where danger and uncertainty wait around every turn.
