About this expansion

The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Nîn-in-Eilph is a 1–2 player Adventure Pack for games lasting about 60 minutes. Released in 2014, it is the fourth Adventure Pack in the Ring-maker cycle.

This pack introduces a new scenario set in a deadly bog. Middle-earth’s heroes must survive the challenges of the treacherous marshes while racing toward a site rumored to shelter ancient secrets.

The journey is difficult from the outset. The marshes are bewildering and dangerous, their shifting quagmires offering no permanent trail—even for Rangers to find. Every step forward brings the party deeper into an uncertain passage.

  • 60 cards for the Ring-maker cycle
  • A new scenario focused on surviving the deadly bog
  • A new hero
  • Three copies of each new player card
  • New interactions with the first player token

Several of the new player cards use the first player token to represent the leadership and assistance that other companions can offer. These cards introduce fresh ways for the players to engage with that token as their heroes press onward.

Whether you are seeking the next challenge in the cycle or exploring the pack’s new player cards, The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Nîn-in-Eilph brings a dangerous marshland journey to the table. Face the shifting quagmires, endure the hazards of the bog, and race toward the secrets waiting at the end of the trail.
