The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Game is a semi-co-operative board game for 1–4 players, with a playing time of about 60 minutes, based on the 1974 movie.

The story begins with you and your friends stranded on the side of the highway after running out of gas. Help is somewhere nearby, but escaping requires careful searching and a race back to the van.

Players use actions to flip tokens while looking for the two items needed to escape: keys and gas. Once both have been found, the group must return to the van. The objective sounds straightforward, but Leatherface is constantly chasing players across the map.

• Search for keys and gas by using actions to flip tokens.
• Move through the map while Leatherface pursues the players.
• Reach the van after finding the items needed for escape.
• Attempt to escape the Killing Room if Leatherface catches you.

If Leatherface catches a player, he takes them to the Killing Room. From there, that player has three turns to attempt an escape before Leatherface eliminates them, adding urgent pressure whenever the chase reaches its target.
