The Walled City: Londonderry & Borderlands is a strategy board game for 2–4 players, played in about 60 minutes. Build a new city from empty crossroads, develop its neighborhoods, and compete to become the first mayor.

The game unfolds in two rounds. First, players play cards to construct roads that divide the city into neighborhoods, then populate those areas with peasants and nobles loyal to them. In the second round, players build the city walls and decide which nobles will enter the towers as Watchmen.

Every construction choice can affect the final city. Unfinished roads may combine neighborhoods, while gaps in the walls can cause nobles to flee. Scoring uses area majority: controlling more neighborhoods provides more votes toward securing a place on the city council and, ultimately, the title of Mayor.

• Londonderry: Explore the original map and its Guilds of London, each offering a unique power.
• Borderlands: Turn the board over for a new map, additional game mechanics, and an expanded selection of Guilds.
• Guild combinations: Mix Guild cards between the two maps for a wide range of possible games.

Although The Walled City is easy to learn, its strategic possibilities are extensive. You must balance road placement, neighborhood control, citizen loyalty, and the protection offered by your walls while responding to your opponents’ plans.

With two complete games in one box, each offering its own character and possibilities, the city can develop differently from game to game. What will your walled city look like when the votes are counted?
