About this board game

The Wondrous Museum is a magical museum game for 1–5 players, played in about 30 minutes. Each player manages a museum filled with surprising treasures from around the world, brought to life by wondrous magic.

On your turn, you can acquire new exhibits or activate exhibits by using the right runes. Activated exhibits resolve in order from left to right, and every effect can be chained together. Carefully choose which collections to display, then decide when to activate them to earn applause from your visitors.

Applause is central to your museum’s success. The more applause you gain, the higher your rating becomes and the more money you earn, giving you valuable rewards as your exhibition grows.

Some of the strongest exhibits may be collected through the black market. These exhibits cannot be traded in the sun, but their power may make the trouble worthwhile.

When the endgame conditions are triggered, players calculate their final rating. The result comes from the exhibits themselves and the admiration tokens placed on those exhibits.
