Theseus: The Dark Orbit – Bots is an expansion for 2–4 players, with games lasting approximately 45 minutes. Released in 2014, it introduces a new and terrifying opponent to the corridors of the space station Theseus.

At first, the Bots appeared to be strange, unknown devices attached to the walls or sealed inside mysterious crates in the hold. Then, in an instant, they vanished. Their presence was soon revealed by shrill metallic squeaks echoing through the dark corridors.

Rumors spread after someone spotted beady, lifeless eyes in the tech bay. When steel blades emerged from the darkness amid a mechanical grinding sound, the danger was already clear—and the rescue had arrived too late.

This expansion adds the Bots faction to the game. The Bots can be used instead of any other faction from the base game, offering a new way to bring this ominous mechanical threat into your sessions.

Designed to fit into the existing game, Theseus: The Dark Orbit – Bots does not increase the number of players who can take part. It remains a 2–4-player experience while adding an unsettling new presence to the station’s corridors.

For players who want to explore a darker side of the Theseus setting, the Bots expansion brings metallic squeaks, lifeless eyes, mysterious containers, and grinding blades to the station. Their arrival turns the unknown devices of Theseus into a frightening new faction for the base game.
