Thunderstone: Thornwood Siege

Thunderstone: Thornwood Siege is a 2–5 player expansion for Thunderstone, with games lasting about 45 minutes. Set in Wulfburg on the edge of Thornwood Forest, it challenges heroes to survive a siege while seeking the Stone of Blight.

The Stone is one of the Thunderstones needed to save the world. When brought together, the Stones have enough power to cast Doom out of the world, but every stone must be captured. Before the heroes can enter the forest, however, Doom’s forces are attacking the town.

This expansion brings danger beyond the dungeon. New monsters, including Raiders and Siege Engines, bring the battle to you and can threaten Wulfburg even while you are preparing for the next move.

• Defend the town from Doom’s attacking forces.
• Face monsters that can destroy cards in the village.
• Protect heroes who have not yet been hired.
• Endure threats even on turns when you avoid the dungeon.

The siege creates pressure on every decision. Village cards may be destroyed, potential heroes may be killed before they join your cause, and you can still be hurt when you choose not to enter the dungeon. The forces guarding the Stone of Blight are dangerous, but ignoring the assault on Wulfburg is no safer.

In Thunderstone: Thornwood Siege, survival depends on breaking through the town’s crisis and continuing into the forest. Can your heroes withstand Doom’s minions, reach the Stone, and help gather the Thunderstones before time runs out?
