About this board game

Thunderstone Quest is a fantasy deck-building game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 90 minutes. Recruit heroes, equip your party, and venture into the dungeon as you pursue a series of story-driven quests.

Each player begins with a basic deck of cards. Use it to purchase or upgrade more powerful cards, gradually shaping a party suited to the dangers ahead. Heroes include wizards, fighters, rogues, and clerics, while support cards provide weapons, spells, items, and the light needed to reach farther into the dungeon.

The game’s scenario mode presents a specific story through pre-set dungeon tiles, monsters, heroes, and support cards. Every quest introduces new dungeons and side adventures, while a story booklet describes what happens as players progress through the scenarios.
