About this board game
Time Arena is a real-time confrontation game for 2–4 players, playable by two players or two teams, with games lasting about 10 minutes. Each side commands four fighters and seeks to destroy the opposing Totem before its own five-minute countdown reaches zero.
In the story, the Lords of Time risked the source of immortality through their endless wars. They created the sacred Time Arena, where warriors summoned from ancient times or distant galaxies fight for control and the right to access the source.
At the start of the game, the first player activates the Arena Clock. That player may use their five minutes as they wish across the game, taking actions for their team before choosing to pass play. Pressing the clock ends their countdown and starts the opponent’s, creating a constant race against time.
- Control a team of four fighters.
- Use the Arena Clock to manage each side’s five-minute limit.
- Destroy the opposing Totem to win before time runs out.
- Track defeated characters with their individual sand timers.
Time pressure is not the only clockwork challenge. Every character has a specific recharge time. When a fighter is destroyed, its sand timer is turned over, and that character returns to the Arena after all the sand has run out.
With its alternating turns, countdown control, and fighter recharges, Time Arena combines a direct objective with multiple layers of time management. Decide when to act, when to pass the clock, and how to make the most of your team before the timer shows zero.
