Tornado Rex is a 3D action game for 2–4 players, with a typical play time of 30 minutes. Players race to be the first to get both of their hikers to the top of the mountain.

Movement is guided by cards, which determine the kind of move a player can make. Depending on the card drawn, a hiker may move forward, move backward, or switch places with another hiker.

The cards also control when Tornado Rex is released. This spinning creature careens down the mountain trail, creating a sudden threat for hikers making their way upward.

• Race two hikers to the mountain summit.

• Watch for Tornado Rex as it spins down the trail.

When Tornado Rex hits a hiker, that hiker is knocked off the mountain trail. The result is a race that combines straightforward card-driven movement with an unpredictable 3D hazard.
