Trailblazer: The Arizona Trail is a board game for 1–4 players with an approximately 160-minute play time, inviting you to travel an 800-mile route through Arizona’s spectacular landscapes.

Over 8 weeks of travel, players journey from Saguaro National Park and the Sonoran Desert through the world’s largest Ponderosa pine forest and into the Grand Canyon. Along the way, discover the remarkable diversity of Arizona’s terrain, flora, and fauna, while seeking wildlife such as the Roadrunner and Javelina and avoiding the Gila Monster.

Each round uses a unique movement and observation mechanism to determine turn order for travel and actions. Players must make effective choices as they acquire a distinctive blend of Natural and Personal resources, gaining advantages during their expedition.

• Travel through mountains, canyons, plateaus, and deserts.
• Encounter Arizona wildlife, including the Roadrunner, Javelina, and Gila Monster.
• Call upon the legendary Jackalope and Lost Dutchman for aid.
• Place polyomino depictions to create your own mural of Arizona wonders.

Efficient placement of these polyomino pieces helps shape each player’s personal mural, while resource management supports progress along the trail. The journey combines exploration, observation, and the careful assembly of an Arizona-inspired collection.

When the eighth round ends, players compare their reserves of Arizona Grit and Superstition Gold. In Trailblazer: The Arizona Trail, the player with the most of these prized resources is declared the TRAILBLAZER!
