About this board game
Triqueta is a set collection game for 2-5 players that plays in about 30 minutes. Across four rounds, players draft animal tokens and try to form sets of three, with each trio creating a valuable triqueta.
During each round, animal tokens are drawn and placed into multiple rows. Players must decide when to take a row containing the tokens they want, since waiting may leave them with an unwanted choice.
The central scoring challenge is knowing how far to collect each animal type. Three matching tokens form a triqueta and score especially well, but collecting more than three of the same type causes points to be lost instead.

Triqueta combines shared row choices with a push-and-pull between completing a set and stopping before extra tokens become a liability. Each draft presents a new decision about whether to claim a promising row now or risk waiting for a better option.
Released in 2023, the game offers a focused set collection experience for groups of two to five. The newer versions of the base game released from 2024 already include the Hidden Wolves expansion.
