Triqueta: Hidden Wolves

About this expansion

Triqueta: Hidden Wolves is an expansion for 2–5 players, with games lasting around 30 minutes. It introduces friendly but shy wolves to Triqueta, adding a shadowy new element to the animal-collecting experience.

Wolves prefer to remain hidden until the end of the game. When they finally step out from the shadows, they are worth a lot of points when they form a triqueta, making them especially valuable discoveries.

However, collecting shadow animal tokens is never entirely risk-free. One animal of each other type is also hiding in the shadows, so gathering these tokens can bring unexpected possibilities as well as valuable wolves.

• Introduces wolves that are revealed at the end of the game

The dedicated 2-player variant is designed to make games at that player count extremely enjoyable, giving smaller sessions their own exciting twist. With its combination of hidden animals, end-game reveals, and high-value wolves, Hidden Wolves adds an intriguing layer of uncertainty to Triqueta without losing sight of the triqueta goal.

Released in 2023, Triqueta: Hidden Wolves is also included in newer versions of the base game, such as editions from 2024 onward. Whether added as an expansion or found in a newer base-game version, it brings a distinctive shadow theme and a special way to enjoy Triqueta with two players.
