About this board game
Tumblin-Dice Jr. is a two-player dexterity dice game that takes about 5 minutes to play. This Jr. version uses a smaller board and two sets of colored dice, creating a compact contest of accuracy and timing.
Players send their dice down a stepped surface, choosing whether to slide, roll, or flick each one. Sliding is usually preferred for better accuracy, but every throw offers a chance to place a valuable roll in the right scoring area.
Each person slides their four dice, then scoring takes place. A die scores its rolled number multiplied by the area where it lands: 1X, 2X, 3X, or 4X. Dice that come to rest in the 0X region are immediately removed from play, so placement matters as much as the number showing.
- Two-player competition
- Approximately 5 minutes of play
- Two sets of colored dice
- A smaller stepped board with two 4X areas
- Four rounds of scoring
High-scoring dice quickly become targets for opponents. A strong placement can build your score while giving the other player something tempting to challenge, making each round a balance between precision and opportunity.
After four rounds, the player with the most points wins. Released in 2006, Tumblin-Dice Jr. offers the core appeal of a rolling dice target game in a smaller format, with simple scoring and direct two-player competition.
