About this board game
Tumblin’ Dice is a dexterity dice game for 1–6 players that takes about 45 minutes to play. In this hands-on contest, players slide, roll, or flick their dice down a stepped surface, aiming to land in valuable scoring areas.
Each player launches four dice over the course of a round. Where a die stops determines its multiplier: the board includes regions worth 1×, 2×, 3×, or 4×. The die’s rolled value is multiplied by the value of its landing area, turning both accuracy and luck into important parts of every launch.
- Use dexterity to slide, roll, or flick your dice.
- Score each die according to its roll and landing zone.
- A die in the 0× region is immediately removed from play.
- After four rounds, the player with the most points wins.
The stepped board creates a clear risk-and-reward challenge. A carefully aimed launch may reach a high-multiplier area, while an inaccurate attempt can end up in the 0× region and score nothing. Because dice can be sent down the surface in different ways, each turn offers a tactile test of control.
Edition details can vary. Some versions include four colors of dice, while others include as many as six; certain sets also feature a −1× scoring area in place of, or before, the 0× region. Tumblin’ Dice Jr. is a travel version of the game, while the original provides a larger tabletop dexterity experience for groups or solo play.
Released in 2004, Tumblin’ Dice combines dice values, physical skill, and four rounds of escalating scoring into a compact competition where every launch can change the standings.
