Twilight Sparkle’s Secret Shipfic Folder is a 2–5 player board game with a 30-minute play time, set in the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic universe.

As the town librarian, Twilight Sparkle secretly writes relationship fan fiction—known as “ship” fan fiction—about herself and everyone else. With her overactive muse at work, nobody is safe from her imaginative pairings.

The game uses three decks of cards, each contributing to the process of building and scoring relationships on the table:

• Ponies cards represent the characters being paired.
• Ships cards pair different Ponies together.
• Goals cards provide combinations to complete for victory points.

Players use Ship cards to connect different Ponies on an expanding grid. As the grid grows, new combinations form, creating opportunities to meet the requirements shown on Goal cards.

Victory points are earned by completing Goal cards for the different combinations created on the grid. The result is a game centered on arranging Ponies, forming unexpected relationships, and watching the shared layout develop through play.
