About this board game

Under Our Sun is a cooperative or semi-cooperative post-apocalyptic exploration board game for 1–6 players, with play sessions lasting around 180 minutes. In a world devastated after a giant asteroid strikes the sun, survivors face solar storms, dwindling technology, and a northern hemisphere transformed into a desolate wasteland.

Players become members of one of the last honorable, socially minded communities and venture beyond their shelter to complete crucial tasks. Choose from four unique characters in the core game, each with distinct strengths and weaknesses, or expand the selection to six characters with expansions. Depending on the chosen approach, everyone can share the same objective—or a traitor may be hiding among the group.

Each round represents a single day, divided into morning, noon, evening, and night. Explore the area tile by tile to reveal events, search for valuable loot, and scavenge the resources needed to craft unique items. These efforts can improve both your survivor and the shelter, while dangerous encounters may lead to life-or-death fights against humans, animals, or something entirely unknown.
