About this board game

Unknown is a cooperative tile-based exploration and resource management game for 1–6 players, with a playing time of 45 minutes. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, it challenges players to complete objectives while keeping their base supplied with food.

Each turn, players spend action points to move their meeples across the explored area and reveal new tiles. Exploration brings opportunities to gather resources, but also introduces environmental hazards and enemies that must be faced along the way.

Success depends on balancing immediate needs with the objectives required for victory. The base must continue receiving food throughout the game; if players fail to keep it supplied before completing all objectives, the game is lost.
