About this board game

Until Daylight is a cooperative survival card game for 3–6 players, with a playing time of about 60 minutes. Work together across ten waves of enemies, trying to keep every character alive while saving at least one survivor.

Every action matters as the group searches for useful objects, weapons, and ammunition. Players can exchange these items with other characters, then use their resources to fight enemies or build traps and barricades. These defensive preparations can help protect the group as the horde closes in.

Each character is unique, with an advantage and a drawback that can shape the group’s choices. Your reflexes, strategic judgment, and ability to survive are all tested, especially during phases when you have only a few seconds to react before the enemies attack.

Players may disagree about the best strategy, but the group leader decides which action the party will take. The player with the most experience points becomes the leader, adding a clear decision-making role to the cooperative challenge.

Winning requires more than simply reaching the end. All characters must survive the ten rounds, every enemy revealed during the game must be eliminated, and the group must save at least one survivor. Early attempts may end in defeat, but each game teaches new lessons about the game’s mechanisms and strategic priorities. In Until Daylight, time is cruel, and survival is never guaranteed.
